Commission I

And here's the finished product. Looks like noodles are back on the menu, boys!

Etchy sketchy III

Here's a sketch for a poster I'm doing for my school. They told me: 'It has to involve chemistry, biology and geography,' so here it goes. Rock on, science dude!

Victoria Victorious

This one was rather difficult. Lately, I have been focusing mainly on the human anatomy, but, as I mentioned in my previous post, I like to vary my drawings. This is the first time I try to go all in on the anatomy of animals.
A horse, a dog and a woman with a true, royal intuition. Victorious.

Bonnie & Clyde anno 1890

I usually find inspiration in a lot of Japanese culture, and as for ages I usually go for the 17th century. However, the show on Nickelodeon, 'The Legend of Korra' inspired me to focus on other ages, so I set this piece in the end of the 19th century, since I like to vary my drawings.
Even though Bonnie and Clyde were criminals during the beginning of the 20th century, I wanted a special fashion SLASH theme for this drawing.

Grim Reaper

The kanji on the Sashimono of the samurai read 'Shinigami'. In Japanese folklore, the Shinigami were sort of like grim reapers, meaning literally 'god of death'. Since the grim reaper usually uses a scythe, I gave him a 'kama', sort of a mini-scythe.

Civilization Zero

Now this was interesting to make. I really like how the environment turned out, even though the guy's proportions fail big time ._.
Practice, practice, practice.

Shout it out, boy, shout it out.

Phillies

Philadelphia Phillies Post Season 2010. Gooo PHILLIES!

Pencil and brush

Working together in perfect harmony.

よんろにん (Yonronin)

Meaning of title: four strays.
I made this drawing with no actual idea as of why they were looking like that. Then I thought, 'Hey, maybe they're abandoned by their masters. That would make them ronin, wouldn't it?'
So there they are, looking badass and all. Even though the face of the guy on the left was very sloppy, I am actually really glad about the way this turned out.
Sidenote: this was made mainly to practice the bird's eye view.

Obelix

Aaand here's the first drawing on the blog! Obelix has always been one of the best comic characters ever.
Colours by Jonas Littau.
